AirJelly is built around proactive, context-aware AI assistance. Here is exactly how we handle the data that powers these features.

Screenshots never leave your device. Screenshots are encrypted, stored only on your device, and never transmitted — not even to our servers. Sensitive content is automatically filtered before any derived text or context is processed further.

Your content stays yours. You retain full ownership of everything in your work context. We access this data only to provide the service you requested, and we never use it to train AI models.

What gets sent to AI providers. When you trigger an AI feature, only derived text or structured context — never the raw screenshot — may be sent to an external AI provider, and only the minimum necessary for that request.

Sensitive information. We recommend pausing context capture when working with passwords, financial accounts, or medical records. You can do this at any time from the app settings.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We have not disclosed, sold, or shared any personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve (12) months, and we will not do so in the future.

We share data only in these limited situations:

• Service providers — trusted vendors who operate infrastructure on our behalf (database, cloud storage, analytics). All are bound by data processing agreements and may only use your data to provide services for us.
• Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of company assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
• Legal requirements — when required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AirJelly, our users, or others.
• Internal research — we may use anonymized, aggregated data for internal research and technological development. This is not considered a "sale" of personal information.

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website to keep the site secure, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our site.

Essential cookies are enabled by default and are required for basic site functionality. Analytics cookies (via PostHog) are used to understand usage patterns — these are anonymized and do not identify you individually.

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary, and no longer than twelve (12) months past the termination of your account.

• Account data — deleted within 90 days of account closure

• Usage analytics — up to 24 months, anonymized and aggregated
• Screenshots — stored locally on your device only; never on our servers

When your account is deleted, all associated personal data is removed immediately.

Withdrawing consent. You may withdraw consent to data processing at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.
